I would be interested in knowing who is giving her money…she might be vulnerable if its from out of state or from groups not in the mainstream, or otherwise objectionable.
Re the slate article, I live in Tx. and there is no way that Rick Noreiga was anything like the candidate that Carly Fiorina is. The the national democrats’ interest in Tx was just a feint.

My God! Comments at kausfiles, or “kausfile”? I’m speechless – which is not helpful when leaving a comment.

I’m a socially conservative Republican with Libertarian leanings, and I want to thank you for your efforts to create a real debate within the Democratic Party. If you had a campaign web site, I’d link to it. If you had a way to donate to your campaign web site, I just might give you $20.

You know, although I’m conservative I rather hope you win. The level of political discourse in the country would automatically double overnight. I know you don’t think it can happen, and maybe you don’t really want it to happen. But I have to say that it wouldn’t be bad.

    Best wishes!

    Richard Riley,

Exactly. Better take advantage of the feature before any future “upgrades!”

Yeah, what is with that wierd redirect from kausfiles.com to kausfile.com. If anyone was asking for my bank account number I would assume I was involved in some Nigerian scam. Then again, I can’t be certain’s Mickey’s run for Senate isn’t part of a Nigerian scam…

Hey Mickey, talk to your commentors and encourage them. We’re future donors and volunteers, not to mention evangelists. You have the opportunity to get a thriving online community going if you are willing to put in the effort. Do you not want one? Hmm, maybe we cause more trouble than we add value? I don’t think so, but I suppose I don’t have an eagle-eye view.

It’s time to start using money AGAINST pols in campaigns.

Publicize how much she has, and treat it as obscene. Detail where it came from and why.

    Stigmatize it.

I almost always post under my full name. However, I am on Boxer’s mailing (just for grins). I can guarantee there is a request for money and special fundraiser every week or less.

Make it “independent” and you might get my vote, and a lot of tea party votes, I think.

    I’m a constituent. A thoroughly dissatisfied constituent.
Money won’t help her. Neither will DiFi. She’s going down.

    Good luck to you, Mickey.

It doesn’t take money as much as it takes effective and creative ads that showcase Boxer as she really is. The medi will decry the ‘negative’ aspects of any ad that accurately portrays Boxer as the arrogant dunce that she is.

Republican challengers just have to have the guts to run them.

Speaking of the FEC … Get rid of it.

Throw open the floodgates of money and require identification of the source of every penny so we can see who the crooks, liars and sugar daddies are. A candidate’s positions are easily identified by the source of their funding.
